Mortgage Rates Increase Amid Strong Jobs ReportMortgage rates this week increased slightly, driven by strong employment numbers. However, rates still remain near their May 2013 low. According to the most recent jobs report from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, total non-farm payroll employment beat all expectations rising by an unbelievable 257,000 in January.
